Jack is President and Creative Director of Digitec Interactive. For the last fifteen years, he has worked exclusively in digital media, specializing in eLearning. He has been an instructional designer, producer and multimedia developer for eLearning titles for organizations that include The Walt Disney Company, YUM Brand Restaurants, FINRA, InCharge Education Foundation, and Chase Manhattan, among others.

As an instructional designer, Jack has also won several awards, including the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning award for Credit Compass, a financial education program that uses extensive game-based learning technology. He is currently designing eLearning programs that use simulations, multi-player components, and game-based learning techniques to better engage the ‘game-based’ generation.

Jack is a nationally-recognized speaker on game-based learning. He has conducted seminars and workshops at TechLearn, the Marcus Evans Financial eLearning conference, the eLearning Guild Annual Conference, Training Technology Solutions conference, the eLearning Guild Developers Conference, and the eLearning Producers Conference. He has also been a speaker and workshop facilitator on game-based learning for the University of Houston.

On the academic side, Jack has a B.A. in English and a Master of Liberal Arts from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He teaches Ancient/Classical and 20th Century Humanities as Distance Learning courses for Seminole Community College in Florida, using WebCT and Digitec’s own Direct-to-WEB game-based eLearning development tool.

Jack is also a dramatist, having written 24 stage plays, including 15 full productions. As a screenwriter, Jack’s script Becoming Leo was optioned for production by Stars North, a production company from Disney.
